Jax's Puppies due December 26th!
We are a small, family owned, in home breeder of miniature schnauzers. Our primary residence is located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. We have a second home in Alachua, Florida and will be spending lots of time there when Rick retires. We plan to have puppies in both locations with Meagan keeping some of the dogs in Harrisburg. Our AKC registered parent dogs are beloved family pets and an important part of our household. Each parent dog has been DNA tested for genetic health issues through Embark and all are clear. We thoroughly enjoy this dog breed with their playfulness and unique personality that is bigger than they are! There is nothing better than to be greeted at the door by our adoring little fur babies! They interact everyday with men, women, children, cats, and other dogs. They expect to snuggle into someone's bed each night and accompany us to the bathroom. They are protective of the people they love and can be suspicious of strangers. This breed is adaptable to many different lifestyles. Be sure to do some research on the breed and make sure this is the right dog for you and your family.
Our goal is to provide a well-rounded, healthy, social puppy who is ready to be adopted by a loving family. Your puppy will be exposed to many sights and sounds of an active household during the first 8 weeks of his life. They will have their tails docked, dew claws removed, receive their 1st shots and deworming, and have a health check by a veterinarian before they leave us to go to their new home. Our schnauzers are bred in a variety of colors which makes it hard to choose!

Regrettably, we cannot allow visitors to see the puppies until they are between 7 - 8 weeks old because of the risk of disease being transmitted to them. Many times diseases and illnesses, such as parvo, are unknowingly transferred on people's shoes and clothing and we cannot risk exposing our puppies to something that could kill them. It is also stressful for the mother dog to have visitors when she is trying to nurse & care for her babies. Your puppy's health & safety are very important to us!
